Jacob Citron
Editor-in-Chief
Jacob Citron is a Lyceum Scholar and Economics Major at Clemson University. Citron serves on the Editorial Board of the Clemson Law Review and has served on the boards of other Clemson organizations as well.
Citron’s research work mainly revolves around the Constitution of the United States; America’s Founding principles; and political, moral, and economic theory.
Additionally, Citron is a photographer, specializing in sports photography, mainly in coverage of the Clemson Tigers, and event photography, mainly in coverage of political events.
Olivia Oefinger
Editor-in-Chief
Olivia Oefinger is a junior at Clemson University pursuing an Honors Economics and Philosophy double baccalaureate, with an emphasis in Law, Liberty, and Justice, and is a Duckenfield and Dixon Global Policy Scholar. She studies within Clemson’s Honors College with aspirations to attend law school. Olivia serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Clemson Law Review.

Maclain Conlin

Before transfering to Duke, Maclain Conlin was a freshman at Clemson University studying philosophy and legal theory. He is deeply interested in constitutional law and legal history and his legal writings have been published in the Princeton Legal Journal, the Carolina Journal, and Originalist Angles. In previous articles, he has interviewed numerous federal judges and legal scholars, including Judge Paul Matey of the Third Circuit, Professor Michael Munger of Duke University, and then-Commissioner Nathan Simington of the FCC. He looks forward to bringing a similar level of scholarship to the Clemson Law Review.
In 2025, he won 1st place speaker in the world at the NAMC Moot Court Championship after previously winning 1st place speaker at Moot Court competitions hosted by Duke, Yale, and UC San Diego. During the past two summers, he served as an intern to Justice Trey Allen of the North Carolina Supreme Court. He is also an alumni of the Coolidge Senators Program and recently became a Fall Humanities Fellow at the Hertog Foundation.
Maclain is passionate about providing undergraduate students with opportunities to both share their legal scholarship and learn more about our nation’s constitutional heritage, and he looks forward to accomplishing both goals through the Clemson Law Review.
